Radiopharmacy Production Technician

ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity for a Radiopharmacy Production Technician to join a leading provider of nuclear medicine solutions based in their sterile manufacturing facility. This role offers the chance to be involved in the development, manufacturing, and quality control of cutting-edge radiopharmaceutical products that help improve patient outcomes worldwide.

You will be an integral part of the production team, supporting GMP-compliant manufacturing processes, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality radiotracers for clinical use.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Radiopharmacy Production Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Support the manufacturing, aseptic dispensing, and quality control of PET radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with GMP and SOPs.
  • Operate and maintain automated and manual radiochemical synthesis and QC equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining the GMP standards within the facility, including environmental monitoring, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
  • Document all production and quality control processes accurately and comprehensively.
  • As the Radiopharmacy Technician, you will ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials and follow radiation protection techniques at all times.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Radiopharmacy Production Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a related science field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management).
  • Proven experience working within GMP environments, with knowledge of ionising radiation regulations and aseptic techniques.
  • Demonstrable practical skills in operating radiochemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
