The role offers a dynamic environment where scientific expertise directly influences manufacturing strategies and product quality.

This position provides a unique chance to apply both practical formulation skills and computational modelling techniques within a collaborative team, supporting key projects across the pharmaceutical lifecycle. The successful candidate will work remotely or at manufacturing sites, focusing on evaluating raw material variability and supporting risk-based decisions related to material supplier changes.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Formulation Scientist will be varied, however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
    • Design, execute, and interpret laboratory studies to assess the impact of material variability and supplier changes on drug product performance.
    • Apply Science of Scale principles to develop small-scale models that accurately represent pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
    • Use computational models and data analysis approaches to predict process robustness and product performance during material change assessments.
    • Conduct formulation-based performance prediction studies focusing on manufacturing and quality risk mitigation.
    • Investigate relationships between material attributes, process parameters, and product quality attributes.
    • As the Formulation Scientist, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to provide scientific recommendations and prepare technical reports.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Formulation Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
