Back to Job SearchWe are currently recruiting for a Principal or Senior Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Principal or Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for driving forward translational research initiatives within the Biomarker Assay Sciences team.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Principal or Senior Scientist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Principal or Senior Scientist, you will develop Flow Cytometry assays in the laboratory, delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose assays and robust data for pre-clinical and clinical studies.
2. As the Principal or Senior Scientist, you will liaise efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design, and execute experiments, facilitating the delivery of translational data.
3. As the Principal or Senior Scientist, you will independently interpret and report analytical data, communicating results in a timely manner.
4. As the Principal or Senior Scientist, you will, represent the team as a Subject Matter Expert in multiple stakeholder interactions, including leading Contract Research Organisation (CRO) interactions to transfer and deliver key assays to deadlines.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Principal or Senior Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a biological discipline, preferably a PhD.
2. Proven industry experience in Flow Cytometry and its translational and biomarker applications.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with flow cytometry analytical software packages such as FCS Express, FACS Suite, FlowJo, and BD Diva.
