

ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client, a leading Healthcare insurance company based in Belgium, is seeking an IT Helpdesk Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment, where your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and satisfaction of internal customers. As the IT Helpdesk Consultant, you will be responsible for providing on-site support and managing various IT tasks across multiple locations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the IT Helpdesk Consultant will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Serve as the primary contact for Local IT in Liège and Mons, managing helpdesk tickets and stock, primarily laptops.
2. Oversee the roll-out of Windows 11, including scheduling appointments, preparing laptops, and ensuring proper delivery and recycling.
3. Travel to external offices in Belgium, mainly in Liège, Namur, and Hainaut province, to provide on-site support.
4. Assist the Team Coordinator and Service Desk Manager during periods of high workload and coach junior team members.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the IT Helpdesk Consultant, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a technical discipline or advanced coursework in technical systems.
2. Proven industry experience in IT helpdesk support.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, Exchange, Print Management, Ticketing, and Stock Management.
