

ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading company in the nuclear medicine industry is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician to join their team in the Oxford area. As the Senior Manufacturing Technician, you will be at the forefront of producing and ensuring the quality of radiopharmaceutical products that make a significant impact on patient care worldwide.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Manufacturing Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Participate in the preparation and review of documentation for the build, installation, and commissioning of the PET Radiopharmacy, including equipment validation and production processes.
2. Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using hot cells and isolators, including aseptic dispensing and sanitisation of aseptic suite facilities.
3. Carry out Quality Control procedures, analysing the radionuclide and radiochemical purity of radiopharmaceuticals using standard analysis packages.
4. Maintain the facility to GMP standards, including documentation, equipment maintenance, environmental monitoring, and stock control.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Manufacturing Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a related science field.
2. Proven industry experience in aseptic dispensing or radiopharmacy.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with pharmaceutical chemistry and good manufacturing practice.
