Our client, a leading company in the life science engineering industry based in the Raleigh area, is seeking an I&C Engineering Discipline Lead. This role offers the chance to lead and inspire a team, manage detailed I&C design packages for medium to large-scale capital projects, and contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the I&C Engineering Discipline Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Oversee all aspects of resource management, including the development and management of design scope, budgets, and schedules for I&C projects.
2. Direct and supervise the activities of the I&C Team, ensuring high-quality project delivery to clients.
3. Act as the department subject matter expert, leading the design and development of equipment used to monitor and control mechanical, process/chemical, and electrical systems.
4. Nurture client relationships to generate new leads and contribute discipline-related content for proposals, including scope, deliverables, fee, and schedule.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the I&C Engineering Discipline Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Proven industry experience in leading an instrumentation and controls engineering team.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with CAD and modelling programs.
