

We are recruiting an Asset Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Walloon Region, Belgium. As the Asset Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the reduction of environmental impacts throughout the lifecycle of physical assets, particularly those regulated by GMP.
This is a hybrid mission, reducing to two days per week on site/three days remote when the candidate has settled into the misison. The misison length is until the end of December 2026 but likely to extend.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Asset Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Asset Engineer, you will assess the environmental performance and potential improvements of critical assets, including HVAC, utilities, and buildings, through technical documentation analysis, consumption data review, and site visits.
2. As the Asset Engineer, you will identify and evaluate opportunities for carbon, energy, and water savings.
3. As the Asset Engineer, you will provide support to project teams in reducing the environmental impact of new and existing assets.
4. As the Asset Engineer, you will collaborate with operational teams to manage and maintain critical assets to minimise their environmental impact.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Asset Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in engineering or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in identifying and implementing solutions to reduce energy and water consumption in an industrial context.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HVAC control principles, black utilities, and sustainable infrastructure management.
