Are you a Business Development Manager with a passion for working across the Life Science sector?
We are looking for a Business Development Manage to join a leading Contract Testing Organisation, specialising end-to-end testing solutions across analytical chemistry, microbiology, and physical testing. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to drive business growth by identifying and developing new sales opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Business Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Develop and maintain a deep strategic understanding of the company’s service portfolio, key market segments, and regulatory landscape to drive business growth and market positioning.
2. Identify and lead the development of new service offerings by assessing market demands, emerging industry trends, and internal capabilities to expand the company’s value proposition.
3. Drive high-impact client acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring the development of strong, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across industries.
4. Oversee and optimise sales planning and prioritisation, ensuring that client engagement activities and lead generation efforts align with corporate growth objectives and consistently exceed KPIs.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a STEM related field.
2. Proven industry experience in business development, sales, or a commercial role within the Pharmaceutical or Life Science sector, preferably Contract Testing.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with CRM systems for lead management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and sales reporting.
